First Base
A shelf for arrivals and departures. First Base is a minimal gesture for the entrance hall — a soft arc of stainless steel projecting gently from the wall. Its curve makes only the slightest intrusion into space, offering a landing for keys, headphones, sunglasses, and other daily essentials. The polished edges catch light and movement, animating the surface with shifting reflections. Suspended in its simplicity, the piece transforms a fleeting moment into a ritual: the first touch when entering, the last before leaving.
Material: Stainless Steel
Dimensions: L 1200 mm x W 120mm H 180 mm

The first base of the series is an oval stainless-steel shelf, handcrafted with precision and designed to be mounted on the wall. Conceived for a hallway or transitional space, it offers a place for the small rituals of daily life: to drop your keys, wallet, or chewing gum, to leave a newspaper, or to hold letters waiting to be sent to your loved ones. It can also serve as a temporary rest for a drink before you head out running. Both sculptural and functional, the shelf transforms an ordinary passage into a site of pause and interaction. Its stainless-steel surface reflects light and movement, giving a subtle presence to everyday gestures, while its adaptable sizing allows it to integrate seamlessly into different interiors. Each piece is entirely handcrafted, ensuring individuality in every detail.
