The piece invites a constant act of looking. What appears at first as a rigid grid becomes animated through perception; reflections fold and unfold with each step, transforming the surface into a moving landscape of light. Shadows slide between the vertical lines, softening the precision of the structure and creating a play of depth and distance. The result is an image in flux—never static, always responsive to its context.

Seen in relation to architecture, Reflective Topography behaves like a fragment of a larger façade—a piece of the built environment condensed to domestic scale. It mirrors its surroundings not only in image, but in essence: absorbing and returning fragments of light, space, and movement. As the viewer shifts, the object becomes both a reflection of the room and a projection of its own geometry.
